The PERSPECTIVE Series: Call for Submissions

Connection Dance Works is now accepting submissions for our 2016-17 PERSPECTIVE Series.
The PERSPECTIVE SERIES includes workshops as well as evenings of dance and discussion which take place in the fall and spring of each year. Local and visiting artists from all artistic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
PERSPECTIVE: Music Composition for Dance
Creation Lab
Music Composition for Dance brings together musicians from Open Arts and professional dance artists, for a five day collaborative lab residency. Musicians and dancers will work together to create both original music and original dance.
To facilitate the development of each new work during the residency, Lesandra Dodson will act as a resource person, in a lab format, for each choreographer and musician pair.
Creation Lab: April 15-22, 2017 in Fredericton, NB
Performance dates: April 20 & 21, 2017 in Saint John & Fredericton, NB
Application deadline: November 1, 2016
