Starting in August, ArtsLink NB will offer artists and arts administrators a number of individualized consultations. These One 2 One sessions will be led by key experts in a variety of topics relevant to making a living in the arts.

Our first One 2 One series had participants working directly with an accountant to develop their accounting systems and establish a regular process for updating their finances. Participants had a 30-minute consultation session with a CPA, where they assessed the financial needs and identify specific opportunities to help. This session Took Place in August of 2021.

Our next One 2 One will give participants all the information they need to successfully fund their artistic proposals. This session is happening before the upcoming artsnb creation grant deadlines, and will happen again in the spring.

Participants will be required to provide a proposal for a project, a CV and list goals for their practice. The facilitator, ArtsLink ED Julie Whitenect, will meet with each participant, read the proposals, provide feedback and suggest funding sources, and partnerships.
