The Grand Manan Museum celebrates its 50th anniversary this year with the premier showing of a special documentary about the Museum by Denise Petrizzo of NYC. Followed by the official opening of two new Canada 150 sponsored events: 1) “Then & Now”: A comparative photo exhibit looking at the past 150 years of change on Grand Manan; 2) “Celebrating Youth: The Grand Manan Mosaics”, featuring a mosaic tile installation made by the GMCS graduation class of 2017. Reception with refreshments follows. Admission by donation.
