Tax Information Session for Artists with MNB 💰

Learn about filing taxes as an artist from Marcel Gagné.

Marcel specializes in accounting and tax preparation and has over 20 years of experience in the business. Marcel graduated from NBCC Moncton’s Business Administration program with honors in 2005. Since then, he gained work experience in accounting, payroll, tax preparation, budgeting, and finance for various businesses such as Scotiabank, Ernst & Young, AAAPNB, Savoie & Boudreau International, & NBCC.

Before attending college, Marcel was in local bands (Mario Poupette et Les Chevettes and Joseph Edgar et la Societe Sonart) and still has many friends in the industry today. Marcel likes to use what he’s learned to help self-employed local artists navigate the world of business and tax. Marcel now teaches at NBCC in the Business Administration department.

CATAPULT Applicant Info Session for 2023

Artists need the work habits that would allow any entrepreneur or small business owner to succeed in their field. Over an 8-week period, CATAPULT participants receive training in fundamental entrepreneurial skills.

From Harm to Harmony Applicant Info Session 💁🏽‍♂️

If you are interested in applying for the Harm to Harmony Artist Residency and Mentorship Program, CCNB will be hosting an information session on March 8, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.

The first part of the session will be an overview of the overall Harm to Harmony program, an introduction to the artists and their work, and examples of past community engage art programming. The second part of the session will be an open question-and-answer period.

Mawi’Art: Wabanaki Artist Collective, in collaboration with ArtsLink NB and L’Association acadienne des artistes professionnel.le.s du Nouveau-Brunswick (AAAPNB), is hosting the fourth Cross-Cultural Creation Residency, June 16-25, 2023 in Metepenagiag.

The 10-day residency will take place at Metepenagiag Heritage Park and Outdoor Lodge, and artists will have the opportunity to work on a personal project as well as exchange creative energy and cultural wisdom with eight other artists.

The deadline to apply is February 19th, 2023.

Oversee the work of the Executive Director and provide support, feedback, and guidance to the staff
Volunteer for committees (fundraising, policy development, THIRD SHIFT, etc!)
