Stephen Graham Bird Award
(Acting, Directing or Playwriting)

The Stephen Graham Bird Award is designed to recognize and encourage New Brunswick students who have demonstrated exceptional talent and potential, and who are pursuing a career in the theatre. The Stephen Graham Bird Award is for full-time study.
Objectives
To assist New Brunswick students who intend to pursue, or are presently pursuing, a career in theatre as a professional.
To increase the number of professional theatre artists in New Brunswick.
To encourage the development of New Brunswick talent in theatre arts.
Eligibility
To be eligible for consideration an applicant must intend to pursue, or be currently pursuing, full-time studies at a recognized institution, at an undergraduate level or professional training program, for the purpose of pursuing a career as a professional theatre artist. This career may be in acting, in directing, or in playwriting. Only New Brunswick residents are eligible to receive funding. A resident is defined as a Canadian citizen or permanent resident who has resided in New Brunswick for at least one year immediately preceding the application deadline.
Level of Funding
One award in the amount of $3,000 will be awarded per annum. An individual may receive up to a maximum of 4 awards, which must be applied for annually.

J. Patrick Clark Award
(Design, stage management or technical production)

The J. Patrick Clark Award is designed to recognize and encourage New Brunswick students who have demonstrated exceptional talent and potential, and who are pursuing a career in the theatre. The J. Patrick Clark Award is for full-time study.

To assist New Brunswick students who intend to pursue, or are presently pursuing, a career in theatre as a professional.
