Grand Manan Museum: Light Years

“Light Years” with former lighthouse keeper Chris Mills:  Chris will be looking back on his years as a light keeper in the Maritimes and BC (with a detailed look at life on Gannet Rock Lighthouse near Grand Manan) and at the end of the era of staffed lights.  He was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work at light stations in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and British Columbia (were there are still 27 staffed lighthouses), and to be able to document the job and its way of life, which resulted in his book Vanishing Lights. Admission by Donation.
