Weaving Workshop

Join Anna Mathis at Modern General to learn the addictive craft of weaving
In this two hour workshop you’ll make a loom, learn how to warp it, experiement with a variety of weaving techniques to create different patterns & shapes and work step by step to create a handwoven necklace or small tapestry (I mean, you don’t have to wear it but you’ll want to!)

Anna is passionate about sharing her craft through teaching workshops and selling fiber arts kits and supplies through her business Ploome Fiber Arts. Anna has recently been exploring wearable art and has created unique felted necklaces, scarves, one-of-a-kind skirts, vest and many hand-dyed woven shawls which have been show and sold in galleries and shops across the Atlantic provinces.
