Pottery Lessons- Introduction to wheel-throwing

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY Weekly Pottery Course for Beginners: – 8-week course, Tuesdays 1 pm- 4 pm. Feb. 8th- Mar. 29th – Cost $400 + HST = $460.00 – Includes: clay, glazes, firings, use of apron and tools- no need to invest hundreds of dollars up front! We’ve got you covered! -Small class-size of 4 students. Each student has their own pottery wheel to use. Ages 16+ -Course will cover a range of pottery techniques from the beginning; including wheel throwing, trimming, forming and attaching handles, forming clay by hand, decorating techniques, and glazing. -Students will create approximately 10-12 pieces throughout the course. Work will be glaze-fired after the course is complete, to be picked up at a later date. – PAYMENT IS DUE IN FULL TO COMPLETE YOUR REGISTRATION. Please send $460.00 by e-transfer to megan@billingspottery.com -Proof of vaccination is required, and masks must be worn. -If class is cancelled due to weather, rather than push it a week (and risk the clay drying out), it will be rescheduled for the same time-slot the VERY NEXT DAY. For example, a cancelled Tuesday 1-4 pm class would take place Wednesday 1-4 pm. If you miss a scheduled class, it will not be made up, so please check your availability. Refund policy: If a request for a refund is made 8 days before the course begins, a 95% refund will be granted. Refund requests between 8 and 3 days before the course begins will be 75%. Refund requests made 3 days or fewer before the beginning of a course will be 50%.
