Writing retreat in Tuscany – Reduced price and revised date

October 22, 2018 - October 29, 2018

6-day Writing Retreat in an Old World Tuscan Villa with award-winning author Gerard Collins, October 22-29, 2018

Together with Freedom Travel, we’ve revised our writing retreat to Italy, putting a greater focus on writing and affordability. We’ve moved the date to the fall, when the average temperature in Tuscany is 22°C, and we’ve reduced the price substantially.

Join Dr. Gerard Collins, an award-winning Newfoundland author, mentor, and university educator, for this once-in-a-lifetime writing getaway, where we’ll be staying at the luxurious Belvedere di San Leonino in Chianti, a former farmhouse that dates back to the 1400s, surrounded by rolling hills and vineyards. Your trip includes round airfare from Saint John, New Brunswick (other travel gates available), six nights at the villa, writing workshops, group readings, daily writing prompts, written feedback on your writing sample, and of course, your one-on-one session with Gerard to discuss your writing. All breakfasts and suppers, ground transportation, taxes, and airport fees are included.

Price is reduced to $4,999 CAD per person based on two travellers, or $5,599 CAD based on single traveller. Land-only rates, as well as air from other gateways, are available. Writers from the U.S.A. are welcome, as are non-writing guests. There is an optional day trip to Florence for an additional $275, and optional tours of the winery and vineyard – please mention this when you book with Freedom Travel, and see www.goandwrite.ca for details.

Space is limited, so please sign up by May 30, 2018 at the latest to take advantage of this unique opportunity to work directly with Gerard, an award-winning author, writing mentor, and IMPAC Dublin nominee. To register directly for your writing getaway, call Freedom Tours at 1-506-632-1012 or 1-800-561-2324 (toll free in North America).

Visit www.goandwrite.ca for more information, or reach out to Gerard directly – he’ll be happy to answer your questions: gerardcollins@gerardcollins.ca.
