Join us for a festival of art, nature and community August 26, 12 pm – 7pm
The community of Summerville on the Kingston Peninsula, across the Kennebecasis River from Saint John, is one of New Brunswick’s best kept secrets. Beautiful, unspoiled and rich with tidal estuary wild-life, Summerville also has an artistic heritage few communities of its size can claim. A surprisingly large number of prominent artists have lived and worked there and many still call it home.
The people of Summerville will celebrate this heritage and the 150th birthday of Canada (and their local church) in their homes, their back yards and beaches in pop-up galleries on a mile-long stretch of Route 845. We welcome you to join our celebration.
