A PrintSocial is similar to the old-fashioned quilting bee, sitting around a large table with new and old friends making honest connections. Now exchange quilting with printmaking, and you have PrintSocial, add in that Moth Migration Project, and we are collectively working on an international exhibition (opening Sept 28 and on view through October 20).
Join Hilary Lorenz for a day of printmaking. There will be a variety of projects from creating an original moth carving and printing from scratch, to printing pre-carved blocks, to cutting out printed moths and adding it to the installation. Drop in for a few minutes or stay all day, bring snacks or drinks to share if you like. Your moths will become part of this international crowd-sourced exhibition. All materials provided.
