Live Bait presents the New Works Festival July 14 – 18

Live Bait Theatre is pleased to announce the schedule for the fourth annual New Works Festival. The multidisciplinary Festival is designed to allow people to present  new work at any point in its development – from just an idea to a fully mounted first presentation. This year’s programming includes everything from a discussion with a young author of the development of a new book in progress, to the world premiere of a new one act play for digital formats by nationally recognized playwright Natalie Meisner.

“We’re very excited about the Festival this year”, said Live Bait President Cynthia Spurles. “Although some of the Festival will be online, we’re very excited to be able to return to in person programming. We’ll be following all the needed COVID protocols, and we anticipate a fun and invigorating Festival this year!”.

The Festival includes other well known artists such Charlie Rhindress, Pat LePoidevin, Paul Brisk Jr, Solo Chicken Productions, Erin Bardua and Frantically Atlantic, as well as emerging artists. The Festival includes programing in music, theatre, fine arts, literature, and two workshops.
