Memories & Pictures – Charlotte County & the World Wars

Charlotte County Archives and Sunbury Shores Arts and Nature Centre are honoured to announce a collaborative project commemorating those who served from Charlotte County in both World Wars. This exhibit will be launched by Dr. Brent Wilson of the University of New Brunswick Gregg Centre at 5pmSaturday October 1st at the Anglican Church Hall. This will be followed by a reception from 5:30-6:30 pm at the Ross Memorial Museum which is hosting the exhibit.
This commemorative tribute is sponsored by the New Brunswick Department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture, and the federal department of Canadian Heritage.
Tickets for the opening at the Anglican Church hall and reception at the Ross Memorial Museum are available from the Museum, Charlotte County Archives and Sunbury Shores.
The exhibit at the Ross Memorial Museum is open to the public Tuesday toSaturday from 10:00 am – 4:30 pm. School trips are also planned for local middle and high schools to visit the exhibit and then create art at Sunbury Shores inspired by the stories they see at the Ross Memorial Museum and hear from local veterans.
