Making Waves: Art on the Island is a fine art and craft auction presented by Sunbury Shores Arts & Nature Centre to be held at Covenhoven House on the Van Horne Estate on the beautiful, historic Ministers Island near Saint Andrews, New Brunswick.
This curated silent auction features exceptional works by 50 acclaimed contemporary local, Canadian and International artists. Art sales are split 50:50 between the artist and Sunbury Shores to promote the arts in New Brunswick and raise funds to support Sunbury’s outstanding programs and exhibitions.
The event will also feature delicious food from The Chef’s Table, wine and beer, plus live music from The Kalaya String Quartet, a raffle with fantastic prizes and a live auction portion of the evening. Ideal for collectors, art patrons, curators, and community members, Making Waves is an opportunity to discover high quality pieces by contemporary artists while supporting the oldest Canadian arts & nature centre in our pursuit of turning Saint Andrews into the #1 destination in Eastern Canada for artists to learn, network, integrate arts & nature and exhibit.
