Linocuts and Lightscapes- Along the Saint John

November 14, 2020

In this exhibition, titled Linocuts and Lightscapes- Along the Saint John,  artists Alice Sahagian and Suzan Carsley express their love of the river in stained glass and linocuts.

“The Saint John River is very present to many in western and southern New Brunswick. It guides us upriver to Grand Falls and downriver to Fredericton. Crossing over the Grafton Bridge in Woodstock, we take in the river views to the east and west.

Frequent travel in these directions inspired us to capture the beauty and strength that the river carries, connecting us with the cities, towns and villages flanking its shores.”

Each image brings another dimension to the celebrated river.

The show continues through Saturday, November 14th.
