Host: André Roy
André has a double Bachelor’s degree in drama and communications from the University of Moncton. He is an author, humorist, director, and producer.
As an author and scriptwriter, he has created documentaries, short films, theatre plays, comedy capsules, sketches, and commercials.
Since 2014, André has directed two documentaries through the National Film Board of Canada.
His company Productions l’Entrepôt received its first Gemini nomination in 2019 for the digital media component for The Newbies.
André has worked with many broadcasters, including Radio-Canada, UNIS TV, AMI tele, Z-télé, and the TFO Media Group.
As an actor in television, audiences have seen him in the series Les Newbies, Le Siege and Le Clan.
Andre and his team received a Talent to Watch grant through the New Brunswick Filmmakers’ Co-operative and Telefilm to create a French web series in 2020. Unfortunately, due to COVID 19, the project was put on hold and will now shoot in June 2022.
