Charlotte Street Arts Centre’s 2nd Fredericton Girls+ Rock Camp Showcase

The Charlotte Street Arts Centre will host the second annual Fredericton Girls+ Rock Camp showcase on Friday, August 24 at 7pm in the Charlotte Street Arts Centre auditorium.Fredericton Girls+ Rock Camp is a week-long camp for girls+ aged 11-17 centred around inclusivity, creativity and confidence building. Campers get to learn a new instrument or extend their instrument knowledge and form a band under the guide of local female identified (wo)mentors. Campers will write songs, take band photos, write bios, create merchandise and prepare to rock out on stage with their band at the end of the week showcase.
The Charlotte Street Arts Centre hosts the Girls+ Rock Camp to help girls succeed and overcome challenges in their life. In addition to technical training, campers will take part in a variety of music and non-music workshops centred around inclusivity and creativity. With the help and support of kick-butt local musicians like Jerry-Faye Flatt, Kendra Gale & Justine Koroscil, to name a few, the next generation of rock in the city is ready to roll!!
