Book Signing: A Vision in Wood and Stone: the architecture of Mount Allison University

Westminster Books will be hosting a book signing of John Leroux and Thaddeus Holownia’s latest volume on New Brunswick architecture “A Vision in Wood and Stone: the architecture of Mount Allison University”. The event will take place on Saturday, December 10th from 1pm to 2pm at Westminster Books (445 King Street, downtown Fredericton), and both author and artist will be present. A fascinating 175-year story of one of Canada’s finest universities and one of the most important collections of buildings in New Brunswick, the project was a rewarding collaboration between Leroux as author/researcher, Holownia as photographer, and Gaspereau Press as designer and publisher. Beautifully designed in a hardcover format, the book will be of strong appeal to anyone who attended or has family who attended Mount Allison, as well as those with an interest in New Brunswick history and architecture.
