The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the province’s music community, and the organizers of the Saskatchewan Music Conference would like to show their support by offering FREE REGISTRATIONS to member organizations this year.
If you are a member of the Saskatchewan Music Educators Association, Saskatchewan Band Association or Carl Orff Canada – Saskatchewan Chapter, you can attend the conference at no charge as a special thank you for your continued efforts in supporting the music community.
Not a member? You can still attend for only $25!
This one-day conference begins at 9 am on Friday, November 6 and features
16 sessions in streams for classroom music, band, orff, choral, orchestra and diversity. Registration closes at midnight, November 2.
Can’t attend that day? Don’t worry! All of the sessions will be recorded and can be streamed for up to two weeks after the event.
If you decide to register, you will receive an email on November 3 with a digital copy of this year’s program with links to each of the sessions. The email will also include a short video explaining how the sessions will work, and a username and password to login to the live and recorded sessions.
All you need for the conference is access to a computer or mobile device, such as a phone or tablet, with an internet connection. Webcams and microphones are not required. A Q&A discussion will occur at the end of each LIVE session through a text-based chat room. Simply type in your questions, and the speaker will answer them.
The recorded sessions will also feature any questions/answers that were discussed during the live presentations, and you will be able to email the speakers with any questions you may have after the event.
