Join us as some of North America’s top street painters gather at Downtown Place to undertake giant, 2D & 3D chalk paintings over three days. They will be joined by other New Brunswick artists celebrating our inaugural theme, the History of Rock & Roll.
In addition to our painting zone, our festival has a Kid’s Chalk Zone running throughout the weekend with free chalk. We also present a music stage with great local entertainment from 11am daily – it all adds up for three days of super outdoor fun in downtown Moncton with master class chalk painters.
The Sackville Art Fair is a free 2-day event featuring some of the best paint artists in Southeastern New Brunswick! Drop in to admire the art, or purchase a piece or two of your favourites!
The event will take place on the main floor of the Tantramar Veteran’s Memorial Civic Centre.
Capital Art Sale is celebrating its 5th year and 10th sale! As always we are pleased to offer the Fredericton area high quality local art at unprecedented value!
We will be presenting a variety of items created by local artists and craftspeople including paintings, photography, mixed media, illustrations, pottery, jewelry, prints, and so much more!
We are excited to offer original artworks in every budget under $500, with over half of our artists inventory still being offered at 100$ or LESS!
This show is completely unique as we will be presenting all work mixed together on the walls of our venue, floor to ceiling, gallery style. Works will be sold directly off the walls and updated throughout the event.
Here is your chance to create your own, unique door number using glass mosaic!
During this two-day workshop, you will start by designing your door number, in the size of your choosing. Your instructor will provide the weatherproof base. Next, choose from the wide variety of mosaic materials available in class. Your instructor will be teaching two mosaic application techniques.
By the end of day 2, you will have a door number that will be the envy of your neighbourhood!
Materials: $25 paid to the instructor on the first day of the course. All tools, adhesives, grouts (if needed), glass, gloves, and initial substrate or base will be provided. You provide the substrate(s) for your next projects: a sphere, tabletop, mirror, stepping stone, precut plywood base, or garden pot. You are encouraged to bring your own artifacts (glass, old jewelry, stone, tile) if desired. Consultation with the instructor prior to the start is encouraged.
