Salle Sans Sous: Emerging space
A view of the Salle Sans Sous. Two puppets are hanging from the right-hand wall.
2022 – 2023 Programming Deadline: July 15 2022 @ 23h59 (ADT) The Galerie Sans Nom manages an exhibition space dedicated to emerging artists. Salle Sans Sous (penniless room) was created in 1982. Don’t be alarmed by the name: the artists receive a CARFAC fee (500$) for presenting their work in this space. In order to support professional development, the Salle Sans Sous is a venue for artists preparing their first exhibition. All practices are welcome, and contemporary approaches are favoured to fit within the mandate of Galerie Sans Nom. It is an opportunity for artists to explore and push their own boundaries. * Please note that GSN, unfortunately, cannot cover the travel costs for this particular space due to budgetary reasons. *
