For the sixth year in a row, the City of Frederictonâs popular Summer Artist in Residence Program is returning to Killarney Lake Park and the Fredericton Botanic Garden.
From July to August, artists will each spend two weeks âin residenceâ throughout the parks creating and developing special projects and art pieces inspired by their surroundings.
Visitors to the parks are encouraged to talk with the artists and learn more about their work and creative process. Those interested can follow the artistâs social media for updates on their creative journey and to learn about specific interactive opportunities such as artist talks, demos, workshops, and Q&As.
Deadline: March 15, 2024 at 4:30 pm. Artists will be notified by April 30.
