The adFda (Atlantic Dance Festival Danse Atlantique) is looking for professional dance artists to perform a solo (or with artists from the same bubble) in downtown Moncton between August 7th and 17th. Dance presentations of any style will be considered and can include text, performance, improvisation and/or a Q&A with the public.
If you are interested, send them a proposition, a performance idea for a public presentation in an “ambulatory” style, meaning that passers-by (the public) follow a predetermined route where, along the way, dance artists present their work. A performance between 5 and 8 minutes will be most appropriate and could be performed multiples times per day or throughout the week.
A fee will be paid to the artist for each representation, and technical support, as well as security, will be provided. All measures recommended by NB’s Department of Public Health will be respected.
Your application must include;
- Your name;
- Address, phone number and email address;
- A brief resume;
- A video demonstrating your technical and artistic abilities (DVD, USB stick, or video link)
- Be available for performances between the 7th and 17th of August 2020
