In summer 2024, month-long residencies will be scheduled from mid-June to mid-September.

The gallery will be responsible for promotion and publicity that are related to the residency program and all activities related. Artists will have access to the modern, furnished studio on the lower level of the 2017 pavilion at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery. Artists are required to be in the studio for a minimum of 25 hours per week. The weekly honorarium is $550.

Our selection committee will review all applications and select the successful candidates shortly after the deadline for submissions. Accepted artists will be notified and every effort will be made to schedule their participation.
The selection committee consists of our Public Programs and Collections and Exhibitions teams: John Leroux, Manager of Collections and Exhibitions, Ray Cronin, Curator of Canadian Art, Emma Hassencahl-Perley, Curator of Indigenous Art, and Adda Mihailescu, Manager of Public Programs.

Deadline for submissions: May 5, 2024.
