Position 1: Communications Intern

Location: Office based in Saint John, remote work optional
Terms: 35 hrs a week; 8 weeks, 11.75/hr
ArtsLink NB seeks an energetic and enthusiastic candidate with a desire to work in the arts and culture sector as our Communications Intern. Applicants should have strong communication skills and be able to work independently on projects. This position is funded through Canada Summer Jobs.
Communications Intern will be responsible for:Â
- Social media activity, including daily updates to the website, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, as well as developing newslettersÂ
- Producing and editing content as needed for print and other communications and marketing materials, including radio programming, and event promotion materials.Â
- Assisting with the production of organizational documents, such as reports and proposals, and board and other stakeholder communications as required.Â
- General administrative tasks as required.

Position 2: Special Events co-ordinator

Special Events co-ordinator will be responsible for:Â
- Planning and implementing membership activitiesÂ
- Developing materials for membership recruitmentÂ
- Handling member communications; handling members’ correspondence, including queries and requests;Â
- Maintaining a current member database and directoryÂ
- Assisting with the production of organizational documents, such as reports and proposals, and board and other stakeholder communications as required.
