Sappyfest XX  🎺

We are now accepting applications for Sappyfest XX, Sappyfest’s 20th anniversary, taking place August 1-3, 2025.

Applications close on Monday, January 6th, 2025.

Sappyfest is an annual independent music and arts festival that takes place in the heart of downtown Sackville, New Brunswick. Known for its exciting lineups of emerging and celebrated artists working in all genres of music and sound, Sappyfest also programs poetry, dance, film, visual and performance art.

Sappyfest encourages musicians and makers to think of auxiliary projects that might bring our small town to life – are there any other forms of creative expression or collaborations that you would like to experiment with? If you can dream it, we’d love to hear about it!

We endeavour to reply to everyone who submits an application, but please note that depending on the volume of submissions we receive, we may only be able to contact those who we think we can program this year. Thank you for your interest and time! XX Sappyfest XX

October Outdoor Outdoor Film Festival Submissions 2025 🎬

The October Outdoor Film Festival (“OOFF”) is a celebration of stories of outdoor playgrounds from ‘local spots and scenes’ around the world. Founded with the mission of sharing natural beauty and adventures in our own backyards, OOFF seeks to bring people together through stories of people living life to their fullest outdoors.

Filmgoers watching a movie in a tent. Text reads: Outdoor Outdoor Film Festival now accepting films. Submit your story for our 2025 film festival.

OOFF is calling on filmmakers, activists, thrill seekers and outdoor enthusiasts to share stories special to them from their local area. No community is too small or adventure too quirky, this festival aims to inspire people to explore and realize how much adventure is available right outside their door!
