Atelier d’estampe Imago Artist Residency 🏡

Call for submissions 2025-2026: The Imago Artist-Run Print Studio invites artists who work in printmaking to apply to come and work in our studio for a period of 2 to 3 weeks. Imago offers a research space, a functional studio and programming that reflects current trends in visual arts.

Eligibility:

  • The artist must be recognized as a professional artist as is defined by the Canada Arts Council.
  • The artist must have expertise in the field of printmaking they propose in their project.
  • The residency must start between September 1st 2025 and March 31st 2026.
  • The artist must be a Canadian citizen or resident, or hold a valid Canadian work permit at the time of the residency, living outside of the Greater Moncton area.

Benefits:

  • Artists will received a 600$ artist fee per week of residency.
  • Travel expenses reimbursed (full airfare within Canada or up to a maximum of $600 for other means of transportation, with proof of receipts).
  • Accommodations provided during residency.
  • 24h access to the studio.
  • 175$ artist fee for presentation of work to the public (optional)

Third Shift 2025 Call for Applications 🌗

THIRD SHIFT is an annual festival of public contemporary artworks that takes place in Saint John, New Brunswick. THIRD SHIFT 2024 will take place from August 15 – 17, 2025.

Established in 2015, THIRD SHIFT holds space for new experiences and communal exchange through the exhibition of temporary public art installations, performances, and screenings.

RE:FLUX Call for Proposals ⭐️

Galerie Sans Nom is seeking proposals from musicians and artists working in experimental music and sound art for the 20th edition of RE:FLUX which will take place from May 26th to June 1st, 2025.

Organized by Galerie Sans Nom, RE:FLUX festival explores the breakdown of sound boundaries through experimentation and invites us to fill-in the musical gaps in order to find new possibilities and sensory experiences. The festival offers a unique experience that transcends all expectations – we attempt to reinvent music as we know it.

The call for submissions for the RE:FLUX 20 will be peer juried.

Submissions are due by Wednesday, January 29, 2025.

Call to Artists: Residencies at Sunbury Shores 🏠

Sunbury Shores Arts & Nature Centre is offering an Artist in Residence Program for two professional artists to undertake a two-week residency in St. Andrews in 2025.

 

Sunbury Shores Arts and Nature Centre

 

The residencies are available for two weeks each in one of two studios: metalwork or ceramics. Both studios are well equipped with suitable equipment. Artists should plan to bring their own art materials.

For each two-week residency, artists will receive $2,500.00, with 50% payable on the first day of the residency and the remaining on the last day. A contract outlining the conditions of the residency will be signed by both parties prior to the start of the residency (Sunbury Shores and artist). Sunbury Shores was established 60 years ago as an arts and nature centre; this collaboration between the environment and the arts continues to inform the vision for the centre and for the Artist in Residence Program.

The deadline for applications is January 15, 2025.
