CATAPULT is an intensive 8-week business accelerator designed specifically for the needs of New Brunswick’s artists and creative entrepreneurs. It aims to improve the entrepreneurial skills and business networks for its participants and to foster a culture of entrepreneurship in New Brunswick’s arts sector. CATAPULT participants receive training in fundamental entrepreneurial skills like business modelling, marketing, branding, pricing and financial planning. Guest speakers and facilitators for the CATAPULT workshops are drawn both from the business and professional art community. Participants also receive one-on-one coaching by the program Coordinator and formal mentorships from individuals operating at the top of their field. ArtsLink hopes to empower CATAPULT participants to successfully commercialize their work, manage the business side of their practices, develop a professional network, and export work outside of New Brunswick.
