Virtual Pleinairism Workshop 💻☁️

This full-day workshop will expand the concept of plein-air painting into digital methods of 3D creation through site-specific investigation of the Bay of Fundy coastline.

The workshop will include the sharing of theoretical knowledge on the history of plein air and nature painting in visual media, involving discussions about problematic structures and representations of landscape and nature in art and how expanded or alternative notions of plein air practice can be used to critically examine and reconfigure this historic genre in new ways.

The workshop will take place in the Alma Multi-Purpose room at 13 School St., July 17th from 10am – 4pm.

Please note that participants will be required to bring a laptop.
