Songs of the City Fredericton 🎶
January 18, 2023 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Songs of the City will tell the transformative stories of four everyday people whose lives have been transformed through a United Way supported agency or program. Storytellers are paired with local artists to tell their stories through songs composed uniquely for this event.
Stories will be shared from Autism Connections, Meals on Wheels, Partners for Youth and Under One Sky Friendship Centre. Local musicians Judie Acquin, Wolfcastle, Dylan Ward (Marian) , Justine Everett (Les Chanterelles) and The Olympic Symphonium have composed new music exclusively for this event to tell the story of their impact through song. Our donors who support individuals and families in our community through the United Way Community Fund have made a lasting impression on these individuals and their families.
Donations to United Way of Central NB are changing lives each and every day in our region and we’re proud to present Songs of the City as a FREE event to all members of the community to experience this moving and impactful evening.
Songs of the City is presented in coordination and partnership with the Shivering Songs Festival and St. Thomas University.
*Please be advised this performance contains mature themes or subject and is recommended for ages 16+.
