Reduction Lino Block Printmaking

Want to take your printmaking to another level? This course will introduce “reduction” printing – doing multiple ink colours from a single block. Simple registration methods and use of a variety of press techniques will be covered. This is your chance to explore Caligo Safewash Inks in an assortment of colours. We will be working on a single image, but produce a series of prints from the block. Block preparation, registration, paper preparation, inking and multi layer printing will be covered.
Lino Block Printmaking Basics recommended if you are a beginner, which is being offered just prior to this Reduction class.
