Join us at Third Space for a potluck and reception for “Short Pause for Thought”, a group exhibition organized by Third Space members and founders of SAD DOG magazine, Kasie Wilcox and Angel Bustard. We will be hosting a very casual round-table discussion with zine creators and facilitators of independent publishing, guests including:

We welcome and encourage everyone attending to participate in the discussion. There will be hummus kindly donated from Taste of Egypt, please bring snacks to share while we discuss why zines get made, what they mean to our communities and how we can continue to support the creation and distribution of independent publications. ~ ABOUT THE EXHBITION ~
“Short Pause for Thought” is a year review of SAD DOG Magazine’s first year in print, in addition to a reflection on the independent publishing landscape within New Brunswick. A collection of work from past contributors and founders of SAD DOG magazine are presented alongside a deconstructed display of the first two issues of the publication as well as a curated selection of zines from the province.
