NB Covid Comedy Relief on October 2nd, 3rd & 17th

In the year of Covid-19, murder hornets, protests and political scandals, practicing self-care has never been more urgent, and HubCap Comedy Festival has the perfect antidote!

New Brunswick’s diligence during the pandemic has made it possible to host old-fashioned in-person live shows at the Capitol Theatre. A hybrid approach will also make it possible to take in the performances virtually from the comfort of your couch to laugh away the pain with New Brunswick’s funniest comedians, October 2^nd, 3^rd and 17^th.

The lineup features a who’s who of New Brunswick comedic talent, including Nikki Payne, James Mullinger, Luc LeBlanc, Candy Palmater, Tim Steeves, Julien Dionne, Lucien and Jimmy the Janitor and more. The shows will feature a mix of live and virtual performances by the guest artists.

Partnering with the Government of New Brunswick will allow the HubCap Comedy Festival to go virtual.  Covid-induced capacity restrictions at the Capitol Theatre means an opportunity for the festival to share this show with all New Brunswickers in a very special online format. While there are fewer than 300 seats available at the Capitol theatre, we have an unlimited number of virtual tickets available to comedy fans across New Brunswick and around the world.

These high-quality comedic variety showcases include English (Oct 2) and French (Oct 3) stand-up shows, as well as a hilariously original sketch comedy revue show (Oct 17).
