Natural Dyeing with Plants Exploration Weekend

$260Connect with history and cultures from all over the world as we discover the power of indigo and traditional natural dyes. Participants will be working collectively to create resources of dyeing knowledge. This is a jam packed workshop, we will be exploring mordants, exotic hues, and dyes in your own backyard. Sampling patterns on cloth using Japanese Shibori techniques and dip dyeing silk scarves in an active indigo vat!
Participants will complete: a resource binder full of samples and a hand dyed silk scarf.
