Museum in the evening… art in the dark!

You can now visit the Université de Moncton’s art gallery, Galerie d’art Louise-et-Reuben Cohen, and the Acadian Museum on Thursday evenings, both for self-guided visits and for organized activities.
Resurgo Place and the Galerie Sans Nom (Aberdeen Cultural Centre) will also open on Thursday evenings.

* This Thursday, September 15, at 6 PM: Outdoor drawing workshop inspired by the work of artist Laura Demers.

Participants will have the opportunity to choose the location where they wish to work in the garden outside of the gallery while reflecting on the natural environments that surround them.
These drawings, in which the natural elements and the weather may be involved, will be made with simple tools (pencils, crayons, graphite on white paper) – a collaboration between the participant and nature.
