Live Bait Theatre: New Works Festival and Social Distancing Play Festival

Live Bait Theatre is pleased to present its 3rd annual New Works Festival, which includes a variety of artistic projects in various states of development, from ideas to finished projects. This year’s festival also includes a festival within a festival, with the Social Distancing Short Play Festival (presented in association with Moncton’s Hubcity Theatre) being presented as part of the New Works Festival. This year, both Festivals will be held online from July 17 to 19. All events are by donation, and highlights include:
- The reading of a new play, Area 33, by Natalie Meisner
- A playwrighting workshop with Natalie Meisner
- The presentation of Grandma’s Bubble Trouble written and directed by Charlie Rhindress
- The premiere of 8 short plays on the theme of isolation –Â presented in association with Moncton’s Hubcity Theatre
