Lino Block Printmaking is a simple technique that involves carving a soft linoleum surface, then applying ink and printing your image. You can make simple greeting cards, print on fabric or create elaborate artwork using this technique. This course can be a refresher, or for beginners. You will be introduced to the skills needed to continue printmaking at home, or act as the first step in further explorations. You will learn simple techniques to cut and print a small B&W image. Block preparation, cutting, inking and printing will be covered.
