Classical Figure Drawing
August 13, 2018 @ 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
$325SJAC is thrilled to once again offer a special week-long life drawing course with classically-trained artist and educator Melissa Kennedy! Combining demos and lots of hands-on drawing time, students will work from an easel observing a live nude model.
Melissa will help you to make the most of time-tested classical methods:
– comparison techniques to achieve higher accuracy
– searching for accurate proportions and likeness to the model
– looking for structure
– improving line quality
– visual aesthetics principles, such as unity, variety and focal points
