artsnb Deadline: Artist-in-Residence, Creative Residencies & Scholarships
February 1, 2017
The Artist-in-Residence Program is intended for New Brunswick public or private institutions and organizations that wish to host professional artists in order to enable them to pursue specific projects relating to their creative work. This program is also open to individual professionals who seek to advance their creative work through participation in residency opportunities at home or outside the province.
The artists in residence are to contribute to the promotion and understanding of the arts by means of the artists’ contact with the clientele of the establishments.

Creative Residencies:Â Manitoba
The Creative Residency Program establishes annual exchange programs that provides professional artists with opportunities for creation and professional development residencies in the participating provinces and states. Artists participating in this program enjoy complete autonomy and define the objectives of their period of residence and elaborate the parameters and conditions governing its realization in collaboration with an arts or community organization in the territory where the period of residence is to take place. The program reflects the desire of artsnb to offer New Brunswick writers and artists a new career development opportunity and to continue its productive collaboration with the arts councils of neighbouring provinces.

The Arts Scholarships Program is designed to recognize and encourage New Brunswick students who have demonstrated exceptional artistic talent and potential, and who are pursuing a career in the arts. This program awards scholarships for full time, part time or short-term studies.
