Also known as the James Mullinger movie, this big budget British movie has been taking the UK by storm receiving rave reviews being called “the funniest film of the year”. Starring actors from Downton Abbey, Twilight and Notting Hill as well as comedians such as Jimmy Carr, Mike Ward and Gilbert Gottfried it revels in every indignity Mullinger suffered to follow his dream of becoming a comedian.
This is your only chance to see the film in Saint John and Mullinger has decided to make this special screening event a fundraiser for his favourite venue. “The Saint John Theatre Company is one of the reasons I moved to this city. They put on world class productions that never fail to wow me and everyone who sees them. Despite this, they are woefully underfunded and we need to support them,” adds James Mullinger. “They are wonderful and talented people doing wonderful and brilliant things. I cannot imagine a Saint John without the Saint John Theatre Company so every single cent from ticket sales for this event will go directly to them to help them continue to bring their unique fusion of high art with mass market entertainment.”
