Saturday August 20th 10 am – A Geological Tour of Passamaquoddy Bay: Where Continents Collide!
Come and join Dr. Leigh Smith and Dave Stevens on a tour of the southwest New Brunswick shores of Passamaquoddy Bay and learn about the geological features created when continents collide.
Meet Leigh and Dave at Sunbury Shores (139 Water St., St Andrews, NB) at 10:00 am for a short introductory talk and then jump in your cars to follow them on a tour of our amazing geological surroundings. Bring a packed lunch, water, sun protection and rain gear to cover all eventualities, and enjoy the stories Leigh has to tell about our geological history! Your lunch-stop will be in the Ovenhead area before heading back to St Andrews.
