Symphony New Brunswick is the provinceβs professional orchestra. Meditations is the final performance of their Bravo series.
It begins its run at Fredericton Playhouse on May 16 and features Peteris Vasksβ Epifania and an arrangement of Mahlerβs Symphony no. 4. There will be 2 other performances:
May 17 at ThéÒtre Capitol Theatre (Moncton), and May 19 at Imperial Theatre (Saint John), sponsored by RBCDS/Gribbons Advisory Group

Season 34 is just around the corner.
The Saint John Theatre Company hopes you can join them at the BMO Studio Theatre for their 2023-2024 Season Launch! The one-hour event will be packed with plenty of music, fun, and of course the big reveal of their Main Stage and Presentation Series of works for next season!

Loyalist City Shakespeare presents one of William Shakespeareβs great tragedies on-site at Place Fort La Tour. A brave Scottish general receives a prophecy from a trio of witches that one day he will become King. A tragic tale of ambition, superstition, guilt, and murder.

Jones Gallery Lecture Series presents an introduction to the Group of Seven. We will examine the life and work of major artists in the group, including Lawren Harris (1885-1970), A.Y. Jackson (1882β1974), and Franklin Carmichael (1890β1945), their collective and individual approach to landscape, common themes and motifs, and the group’s role in early twentieth century Canadian art history.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Sarah Jones (BA, MA Art History, Queenβs University) is a visual artist, art historian, and curator. She conducted her graduate research on twentieth-century Canadian art and Nova Scotia artist, Maud Lewis, and recently participated in a panel discussion at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia about Lewisβ work in the marketplace. Sarah teaches art history occasionally at University of New Brunswick Saint John and is the curator of Jones Auction House and Jones Contemporary.
