The cultivation of wild rice incites a fierce dispute between a native farmer and a white cottager, which escalates into a symbol of reconciliation. Through an endearing and amusing narrative, this story tackles important themes of community, respect, and ownership. Cottagers & Indians is a timely tale that culminates in a legendary food fight.

ArtsLink NB is thrilled to announce applications for the Winter 2024 session of the CATAPULT Arts Accelerator open Tuesday, January 2nd, and the application deadline is January 23rd, 2024.
The Winter 2024 session will be a hybrid of online sessions and in-person meetings in Saint John, NB. The program will run on Friday evenings and full days on Saturday from February 3 to March 24.
