Drums Across Canada – our local Indigenous drum groups sent out a call and answer to drum groups all across Canada. They are celebrating indigenous drummers across Canada and the public is free to join! It is a one-hour event located at the imperial theatre. Since they started, they have appeared in the 2017 May/June Canadian Geographic, sang at the 2017 state of the province address, take back the night march, sisters in spirit march, and sing at schools, and graduations!

At the Imperial Theatre in Saint John, 5pm on Sunday, September 11th.

Proceeds will help support fashion businesses of immigrants and minorities while providing training opportunities for those interested in acquiring sewing skills to support their income or advance their careers in fashion design.

Her life is a spectacle; from Season 5 of the Emmy Award-winning television show RuPaul’s Drag Race (2013) to her web series “Alyssa’s Secret”, her own Netflix series “Dancing Queen” (2018), and America’s Got Talent (2021). Now the smash hit show direct from London’s West End comes to Canada, September 8-30, 2022. “Life, Love & Lashes” is a must-see tell-all story about Alyssa’s life growing up, her drag career, and finding love. Consisting of more than 6 acres at the water’s edge, this location is deemed as the most desired, most valued and most visible in the City.

North of Union Heritage Walking Tour and Concert🔆

SJAC is excited to partner with the Early Music Festival and plays host to this wonderful FREE summer program for locals and visitors alike! Enjoy a one-hour walking tour of heritage buildings around the Saint John Arts Centre led by local historian David Goss, followed by a 45-minute concert of Loyalist-period music played by classical pianist Tim Blackmore.

This event will occur every Thursday from June 23 to August 25, 2022. The event time is from 10 am to 12 pm. FREE OF CHARGE | Maximum Numbers: Walk: 30 people | Concert: 50 people. In order to register, please call the Saint John Arts Center at (506- 633- 4870).
