We are proud to share that over half of the films were produced in Atlantic Canada, including 3 new films produced in New Brunswick! Join us and meet fellow filmmakers, outdoor enthusiasts, and more from the Atlantic Canadian community in celebration of living life to its fullest – outdoors!
The inaugural Fundy Film Festival, organized by Sunbury Shores, features The Art of Stewardship, three short docs created by teams of youth and seniors from Charlotte County. Working with New Brunswick film directors, Matt Brown, Lauchlan Ough, and Jeff Lively, the three teams wrote, filmed, and edited films based on global warming. The program will feature other short films that address global warming and environmental issues. This project is funded in part by the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program.

With stops planned in roughly 550 communities and more than 40 countries across the globe, the Banff World Tour celebrates amazing achievements in outdoor storytelling and filmmaking worldwide!
From the over 400 entries submitted into the Festival each year, award-winners and audience favourites are among the films that are carefully selected to play in theatres around the world. Traveling to remote vistas, analyzing topical environmental issues, and bringing audiences up-close and personal with adrenaline-packed action sports the 2022/2023 World Tour is an exhilarating and provocative exploration of the mountain world.

The 2022 festival will be a hybrid offering screenings both in-person and online.

We are excited to be offering several screenings at different venues and an awards show in-person this year. Tickets will be cash only available at the door.
The complete program will be revealed during a press conference which will take place on Tuesday October 18 at 10 am at the Aberdeen Cultural Centre. Tickets will be available on the FICFA website at a later date, follow our social media for updates.
