The NB Silver Wave Film Festival (SWFF) celebrates 24 years of spotlighting films shot in the province and produced by New Brunswick filmmakers. It also showcases some of the best films from Canada and around the world.
SWFF prioritizes selection of films that have not been distributed theatrically or broadcast on television in the Atlantic region, made available publicly online, or screened publicly in Fredericton prior to the Festival. Although sometimes exceptions may be made, in most cases such submissions will not be considered.
We invite you to Yip Cider in Long Reach, NB for a showcase of outdoor adventure films, screened outdoors!
We are proud to share that over half of the films were produced in Atlantic Canada, including 3 new films produced in New Brunswick! Join us and meet fellow filmmakers, outdoor enthusiasts, and more from the Atlantic Canadian community in celebration of living life to its fullest โ outdoors!
This event will be a screening of the new documentary film, Freeman Patterson: the universe is unfolding as it should, featuring a talk and Q&A with Freeman Patterson, the Director, Scott Munn, and a performance by the film score composer, and New Brunswick born singer-songwriter/composer, Andrew Sisk.
There are no tickets necessary for this event. Seats are general admission.
