Looking to broaden your artistic and design skills? Check out this amazing collaborative artist project!

Project Makerspace takes a unique approach to design the elements for a new Indigenous Mobile Makerspace. This makerspace will travel around New Brunswick, visiting schools and communities to encourage and inspire young people to pursue their dreams.

This project was created by and for the Indigenous communities, through the partnership of three organizations: Ulnooweg Education Centre, Joint Economic Development Initiative (JEDI), and McKenna Institute at University of New Brunswick.

The goal of this project is to increase opportunities for Indigenous youth in STEAM fields across New Brunswick. Over the past year, we have involved youth and community members in a participatory design process with OSO planning + design to determine the direction and unique learning experiences that will be offered. For this next phase, we want to engage Indigenous graphic artists to create a brand that represents their community and inspires youth.
