Third Watch Call for Submissions 🌒

Going into its second year, Third Watch is a celebration of digital video works, and new component of THIRD SHIFT programming. It will take place in Saint John, NB on Saturday, August 17, 2024.

THIRD SHIFT: Psyche Call for Submissions 🌗

THIRD SHIFT is an annual festival of public contemporary artworks that takes place in Saint John, New Brunswick. THIRD SHIFT 2023 will take place from August 16 – 18, 2024.

Established in 2015, THIRD SHIFT holds space for new experiences and communal exchange through the exhibition of temporary public art installations, performances, and screenings. (more…)

Call for Musicians: Fredericton Airport ✈️

The Fredericton Airport is looking for solo or duo musicians to perform at the annual return of our sun destination airline, Sunwing. We’re looking for upbeat music with a tropical/Caribbean flair.

 

 

Performances will run concurrently with departing flights and will be approximately two hours in length. The audience will be all ages and music must be family friendly and appropriate for a diverse audience.

artsnb Artist in Residence Program Deadline March 1, 2024 🏠

artsnb‘s Artist in Residence Program is intended for individual artists to participate in residencies and New Brunswick public or private institutions and organizations to host professional artists, and enable them to pursue specific projects relating to their creative work.

The artists in residence are also to contribute to the promotion and understanding of the arts by means of the artists’ contact with the clientele of the establishments. (more…)

Kluane National Park Residency 🏔️

Presented in partnership with the Yukon Arts Centre and the Arctic Institute of North America’s Kluane Lake Research Station, the Kluane National Park Artist in Residence Program invites Canadian visual artists to pursue work that brings together science and art through connection with the spectacular landscape of Kluane National Park and Reserve.

Artists are housed at the Kluane Lake Research Station on the shores of Kluane Lake (Lhù’ààn Mânʼ) and are given valuable time to retreat, reflect, and focus on their work with access to researchers, Parks Canada staff and scientists. (more…)
