The internationally acclaimed Atlantic Ballet Theatre of Canada will perform PIAF one night only at the Imperial Theatre in Saint John November 8th at 7:30PM.
Abandoned by her mother at birth, raised by her grandmother in a brothel and encouraged to sing by her street
acrobat father, Edith Piaf became one of France’s most legendary singers of all times.
The musical score features Piaf’s inimitable voice and music, interspersed with classical selections from Fauré,Chopin,
and others. Iconic songs include:
“La Vie en rose,“
“Non, je ne regrette rien,”
and “L’Hymne à l’amour.”
