Here’s a great opportunity for tapestry weavers! Join Ixchel Suarez for a 1.5 day contemporary weaving workshop on 2 to 3D techniques on Saturday August 27 10-4 and Sunday, August 28 9-12 in Fredericton NB Canada.

Location TBD. Cost is $250pp.

This includes all supplies, but weavers are encouraged to bring yarn and fibre too; weavers can bring your own small loom or you can use one of Ixchel’s frame looms.

Ixchel is a dedicated weaver and visual artist that explores different materials that are woven using tapestry techniques in non-conventional ways.

Materials will be provided. Make sure you bring along interesting materials you want to incorporate in your samples. Ixchel will demonstrate how to apply different techniques in weaving to accomplish your project ideas.
